I purchased these and the Lulabloc seat belt holders and ended up keeping these and returning the others. I used them in a 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The seat belt holders have a recessed area so they can go down into the seat when the back is folded down, which is a nightmare for kids in boosters. These are solid and the Lulablocs are not. These are harder to get on because of the solid rigidity, but they also don’t slide right back up and get in the way. The way they fit in the Jeep they are almost flush with the head of the seat belt holder, not down farther like in the stock photos. So they *just* fit, but hey it works! I had my husband shove one of them on it was such a tight fit, but again, that means it’s not coming right back up to get in the way. I also like that they are red and easy for my kids to find against the dark interior of the Jeep. I hope this helps someone else with the same type of seat belts.

  2. Working Mom

My son recently transitioned from a 5 point harness to a lap latch seat belt. In daddy’s car the seat belt stays put so he does great…. however in mommy’s car the seat belt is all floppy and he has a fit every time he “can’t do it”. After weeks of standard child temper tantrums I chose to pick my battle and buy these bad boys.

Boy was I silly for waiting. I mean is it really a huge deal to spend a few bucks and save a headache EVERY time I get him in the car? Nope. Is it a huge life saver….. YES.

If you are on the fence just do it. Just pay the money and save yourself the headache.

  3. Jose UBER

I’m a full time, Professional UBER driver. I got these “Seat belt buckle holders” and combined them with “Seat belt extensions” for a perfect comfort of my passengers, who praise them everyday.

I was a bit dubious about whether these would work, but they do.* better than I could have imagined.*

*okay, here’s the thing, they work well in certain cars. We have three cars and they only worked in one of the three. Fortunately it was the car where they were most needed. We used these to stiffen the nylon webbing in the rear seat of a rav4 so the latch would “stand up” and our daughter could bucked her own seat belt around her booster seat more easily. At the same time, the second unit was used in the center seat for when we fill all seats during carpool. The center buckle in particular is floppy and meant to be hidden so this holds it up nicely. The key would be to look at measurements to make sure this will work. Didn’t work on our truck where the buckle webbing was too long (would have needed two, and I didn’t want to buy another set) nor on a midsize sedan where the buckle was fairly stiff already. Overall a great product that fills a specific niche.

  5. Charlie

Ordered this expecting it not to work based on other reviews that it doesn’t work on recessed belt buckles. Well I pulled hard on mine and by hooking fingers under the buckle, yes it does fit!! And now my kids can buckle themselves in a flash vs having the buckle slide down into the recess hole every time.
For reference I have a Subaru Ascent.

  6. Shauna Morales

Big help for my daughter in getting seatbelt on

  7. Jillian

Once it’s installed it’s great, especially for the winter time when the kids are trying to buckle in while wearing gloves. Very difficult to get on! It worked on the Santa Fe back seat buckles but it wouldn’t fit on the Camry back seat buckles.

  8. Alexis

    Excelente producto

  9. Thomas Dye

Love this! Makes snapping a seatbelt a breeze!! No more fumbling!! Must buy and easy to install! These worked on a 2019 Nissan Rogue in case anyone was wondering if they fit a Rogue.

I can reach over my daughter and buckle her with one hand instead of two. Exactly what it’s made for.

  11. Jules

These work great for keeping the buckles from going into the seat. The red color makes it easier to find the buckle.

  12. Stokey

This works great for chevy vehicles to help hold the seat belt still for kids to buckle themselves

  13. Bobmon

My little girl finally got big enough this last year to start using a combo carseat/booster seat with the lap and shoulder belt. She’s in the back row of our van and the portion of the seatbelt that she has to connect to was flopping around. After a few too many times of having to pop the rear hatch and help her get buckled up I was getting rather annoyed. After much searching I found this as an option. It easily slides over the receiver portion of the belt and pushes down against the seat. This keeps the receiver sticking up in a way that she can easily insert the tab into it. And, the red color makes it easy for her to see it even when it is darker out.

  14. Monica

Very helpful in making it easier for my 5yr old to buckle herself in.

  15. Kathy

These did not fit over my seatbelts in my Toyota Camry (2015). I waited too long to return them. However I cut one of the long sides open with a hand saw and fit them around the bottom of the seatbelt latches and stuffed them down into the seat as much as possible. One on one side and one fit around both the middle and other side latch (which are next to each other). They work perfectly to keep the seatbelts from sliding down into the seat and it keeps them upright for easy buckling for kids or seniors (also makes it easier to see for seniors). So while they did not work as intended they were useful. Since they do not have any effect on the safety of the belt and are just keeping it up and straight, there should be no safety issue with cutting it to fit.

  16. Amy

I bought these for my 5 year old son because we needed to move him to a high back booster so he could more easily get in and out of the car for school drop off. We have a large convertible car seat so the high back booster mode was still rather bulky and he had a hard time buckling in the car’s seatbelt. I bought these positioners with the hope that they would at least help him reach the buckle better. After just a couple tries, these were helping him buckle up by himself without getting frustrated like he was before. It didn’t appear to help much with buckle placement when I originally put it on but the results from my son show that they are working! Also, a side affect that I had not originally noticed was that they are bright red and help to locate the buckle, especially in a dark garage or rainy weather. Would recommend for new high back booster kids!

  17. Xraytec04

These are great- a bit tough to get on and adjusted but once one then your good to go!

  18. Yani

it was a tight fit for my buckle that is really short but once I finally jammed it down it did what it needed to do. I no longer have to crawl over my son & his carseat to buckle him in anymore

  19. M1998

Who knew something so small could make such a difference! If you have floppy seat belt buckles in your car you need these. I pulled the buckle almost all the way through and then pushed the silicon base into the socket where the buckle can be pushed into. There were times when I used to spend a few minutes struggling to get my kid buckled and now it takes just a few seconds. I was skeptical at first because the design is so simple but It really does work for me.

  20. TW

Love this product. After looking at our buckles (2012 Subaru Impreza) I didn’t think it would help enough. Our issue was that the buckles are too short and when you attempt to buckle a kid in a booster, it is near impossible to insert the buckle without pressing the eject button. Once I put this on, my 4 year old can buckle like a champ!! I thought I would need an extender as well, but this product alone solved our problem. Highly recommend

  21. Demarte

    Easy to use

  22. AlWa

We bought these for 2 different cars, before looking at our seatbelt design. They work great in the car that has non-recessed belt inserts. However in our car with recessed belt inserts, there is no way to get them around the insert. This was completely our error, and we should have checked in advance as it is not a problem with the product. We are holding onto them as we plan to swap cars in the near future, but make sure you check your seatbelt style prior to purchasing.

  23. cetesofi

We have short buckle receptacles that are designed to fold down into the seat when the seat back is down and pop up automatically when the seat back is up. This unfortunately means that they move around very easily and this makes it hard for a child in a booster seat to get the top buckle snapped in. This product holds the buckle receptacle in place pretty well and holds the neighbor one down so that the child doesn’t try to use the wrong one. It is hard to get on, and you have to make sure it is pushed on sufficiently that it doesn’t interfere with the top buckle. Definitely worth it for the price. We considered getting the buckle extenders instead, but there have been lawsuits after children were injured, as the buckle extenders are not made by the car manufacturer and are not always of good quality. This product has been a good alternative.

  24. zaysma

So I bought this thing to use as a bumper to push the seat belt away from the booster seat. In my Traverse, my 6 year old couldn’t see and move it over to be able to line it up properly to buckle herself in. Slipped this on and she is good to go.

  25. Pama2012

This works as expected a newer Tahoe. Does not work on an older Honda Pilot.

  26. SoCalMom

I’m sure these work perfectly well for other vehicles, but for my truck they are not quite the right fit. There is too much play in the short buckle strap to allow it to hold the buckle upright. However, they do prevent the buckle from being tucked behind my kid’s car seat or getting pushed back between the seat and back rest.

  27. pishou

This belt buckle holder is heaven sent! My son was frustrated every single time, while trying to buckle himself in. I put this in there and presto! He’s so happy with it. He still struggles with his belt at times, but it’s just how the car is designed. The only thing I suggest is to get one that’s brightly colored. I got the red holder and it stands out, allowing my kids to be able to see where to buckle their belts. This holder has saved this mama and her kids’ sanity! Thank you! 😁👍🏻

  28. tat

it does what it’s meant to do. installing it took some wiggling and a broken nail. but my kid can now buckle herself which saves me time and makes her feel more independent.

  29. David R

In my truck they work great, our son struggled to click the seat belt in his booster seat. This holds the buckle right in place and makes it easy. My wife’s car they don’t help or do anything.

  30. Blessed

So tired of listening to my kids complain about the seatbelt getting shoved down into the seat! Low and behold this awesome gadget fixes the problem. It’s sturdy and has never needed to be adjusted or fixed. Problem solved!

  31. Judy S

The receiver end of the seat belts in my car sink down into the seats when my granddaughters try buckling themselves into their booster seats. I bought some seat belt extensions, which would’ve perfectly solved the problem, but because of their design, they fit on the seatbelts in the front seats of my car (where they’re not needed), but not the back seats. Rather than ordering another set, which may or may not fit, I decided to try these belt buckle holders. The description indicates these work best on seat belts that are “floppy” – and mine didn’t exactly fit that description, but I tried them anyway. Installation was not easy because they fit snugly and my seat belt ends are not really as long as they should be for the holders – but I got them on. I haven’t had the opportunity to try them out with my granddaughters yet, but it appears these buckle holders will prevent the seat belt receivers from sinking down into the seats and allow the girls to buckle themselves without my help. I’m happy with my purchase.

  32. corey hawk

While a bit of a pain in the rear to get on, they have made a incredible difference in getting the kiddo buckled in. Before I had to grow more fingers or lay on my kid for two hands to get the buckle in because it was sinking into seat. Now it is a breeze. Worth every penny!

  33. Linda W.

Helps my grandson be able to buckle himself in his booster seat.

  34. Dr. Gadget

We used it to make it easier for the grands to buckle their boosters.

  35. Richard Castellanos

If you have a 14 to 2021 Acura MDX or Honda pilot this is a must! We have a 17 MDX abs I absolutely hate the rear seat belts! That are floppy and a pain in the behind to buckle with one hand specially when you have child boosters! I was looking for some seat belt extensions when I came across this ingenuos product. They are easy to install and make it super easy to bucle your seat belt one handed!

  36. Kayla V

Easy to install works great in my infinity truck my kids have no problems buckling up any more !

  37. Cassidy King

Made it 100% easier for my child to buckle herself in

  38. Jamie

This was exactly what we needed to help our 6 year old buckle himself in the car! He always had such a hard time getting the seat belt in the buckle, but not anymore! So easy!

  39. Cpbk

Installs easily and works great in our ’99 Toyota 4Runner and our ’06 Honda Accord.

  40. SARAB23

I wish o found these sooner! My kid had trouble with buckling in the booster seat but these fixed it and he can do it himself now.

  41. Debra_G

Wish I would’ve found this sooner. It’s so much easier for my youngest to buckle up now.

  42. Bethenie

I actually really like this. I installed it and then installed my seat and it actually stayed up and was sturdy. Didnt flop around or run away. A must!

  43. C.W.

This helps my daughter buckle into her booster seat. She’s in a Chicco MyFit, so she’s raised several inches above the actual seatbelt. This holds the buckle in place in our Odyssey so she can buckle quickly.

  44. Gabriel Guerra

I purchased this for two cars but after installing the first one on my Acura MDX and it being to low, I decided to stack them together and BOOM! Fits the Acura MDX seatbelt for booster seat.

  45. ER

Made it much easier for child to buckle over car seat. Wish I knew of these sooner.

  46. Donnie R.

It’s not a life changing device. It does perform as stated and it atleast makes finding the correct belt easier. If you are buying it for a 5yr old, it’s not a waste of money but you can live without it.

  47. Finn

Both my car & my husband’s have backseat belt connectors that are longer, and therefore tough for our younger kiddo to click his seatbelt into since they flop around. These belt buckle holders did the trick! I’m not going to say they were easy to install, but it also wasn’t difficult- basically you jam them over the connector & just keep wiggling then downwards until they slide into place on the nylon fabric part, takes all of 20-30 seconds of effort. But man, such a small & simple thing makes a huge difference! Now the connector stands up almost straight, which means even a five year old can buckle easily in about 5 seconds. I would absolutely recommend these holders to any parent or caregiver with little ones, or even if you’re an adult with just annoyingly floppy seatbelt connectors!

  48. Aleah G

Before getting these, every one who sat in my back seat (kid or adult) had a very hard time putting their seat belt on. Now that I have them installed, even my 6 year old buckles himself in no problem!

  49. Andy P

This product does what it says it does, it raises and steadies the belt. Unfortunately it’s a one size fits all solution, and my car is an outlier where there is a big gap in the seat so it would need a much bigger one to really work perfectly. That said it works enough to be helpful, and I don’t think any alternative of this type would work better.

  50. Allison

Every parent of a child putting on their own seatbelt needs this!

  51. Christie Norris

Easy for children to buckle themselves and easy for me to find buckle when reaching over them

  52. Mommy

I had read a review about stacking the two on a Hyundai Elantra. They were right! The seat belt part coming from the seat is really long. I think 3 might have even worked better. Well, I’m still happy because I no longer have to fish around for the seat belt when buckling my son in his high back car seat. I do have to occasionally push it down past the buckle because it starts to ride up. The product is expensive, in my opinion, but very worth it.

  53. Losadayas

Amazing! My son who struggles to buckle himself uses this now to buckle himself!! He feels more confident and it saves me time!

  54. AJ

These buckle holders work great in the backseat of my 2016 Jeep Cherokee. The buckle receivers are recessed (not floppy), which allows the seat to fold down more easily. These blocks fit… not exactly as pictured, but slightly below the top of the receiver. They definitely work, and stay on!!!

  55. Allie F. Truesdale

So glad the children can buckle up now with no help. Hip, hip, hooray.

  56. Krista.B

Bought these for our kids booster seats. Definitely helps her buckle herself.

  57. sussy estrada

    Color …..material.
    Y muy útil

  58. Marissa Edwards

    Easy for kids to use

  59. Eduardo

    Change my car!

  60. akm2598

Easy to put on they hold the buckle in place making it much easier for little.kids to buckle in. Very happy with the purchase.

  61. Dorita

These car seat holders work pretty good. They are sturdy and easy to install. My 9 year old grandson is very happy. Good product.

  62. Justine Nemeth

If you looked up this product to see if it was worth it, it is and buy it now! I wish I would’ve bought these a year ago when my son was three, even at four now it is helpful. Worked in both our forerunner and Honda fit

  63. PC

Works as advertised. These are wide and can be a tight fit if your vehicle has belt latches that are close together AND cannot move left/right (e.g., Honda Ridgeline). Works great for a single latch though.

  64. araseli

Liked it but you still struggle to find it

  65. Dianne Tully

Helped my grandson to buckle up quickly. Use dawn as a lubricant to help slip piece on.

  66. Candydiva04

I was concerned after seeing several reviews that said it doesn’t work for a highlander but I have the model with Captain’s chairs so I decided to risk it and I’m glad I did. My 5 yr old has been struggling to buckle himself in since we switched him to a booster because way the buckle is situated it requires 2 hands. This solves the problem and gives my big boy some independence. Love it! So if you have an highlander with captains chairs instead of the bench this will work for you

  67. ladywolf11

I bought this so my granddaughter could buckle/unbuckle herself from her booster car seat. It works perfectly. She’s so happy & feels like a “big girl” now. WS easy to install. But just a note to pass on when buying these…be sure to measure the outside of your buckle & compare to the “inner dimension” of product. I purchased another brand before w/o doing that & it did not fit & I had to return. So save yourself the trouble & measure!!

  68. Tiffany fike

    These things rock!!! Highly recommended!!!

  69. Rosemary H

Sturdy but harder to install than the video shows.

  70. newt

Love these to help an older child be able to buckle IN. They really help the seatbelt receiver stay standing up. My elderly mom also said it helps her too. A win – win.

  71. LaDiDa

My child has a terrible time getting the buckle to latch when sitting in the booster seat. Our car has buckles that wiggle and shift as you try to get everything latched properly. This little item has been our solution. The holder fits over the buckle and holds it steady, and also (since it is bright red) is like a target for kids to aim for with the buckle. We have had far fewer meltdowns since installing these. It does take a bit of finesse to get the holder over the buckle–but once you have it on–it does not budge.

  72. Ryan J. Strayer

I’ve had this for about 2 months now. Daughter is in a booster seat now and can easily buckle herself in with this product. Keeps steady and hasnt slipped down at all.

  73. Laura Holmstrom

They keep the seat belt in place

  74. BB

Buckling up easier in child booster seat
